Cash Only watched history go down on December 29th as we attended the opening of New York's first licensed recreational cannabis dispensary, Housing Works. This was a marijuana milestone, to be sure.

Thousands of people lined the streets to get entry to the brick-and-mortar store, which received one of the first retail licenses due to being a nonprofit.

The event turned into a block party, with people smoking and selling weed outside before even gaining entrance. While waiting to get in, we met entrepreneurs, content creators, and even a 420-focused inventor.
